HELLOOOO ITS BEEN SO LONG SINCE IVE BEEN UPDATING!
I WOULD LOVE TO SHARE A VERSE WITH YOU GUYS IN TWO DIFFERENT VERSIONS BECAUSE IT HAS TOUCHED ME TODAY WHILE I WAS MEDITATING ON IT{:

and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.
The Msg:
And then take on an entirely new way of life - a God fashioned life, a life renewed from the inside and working itself into your conduct as God accurately reproduces His character in you.

Put on - Take on
in here, God didnt say "I therefore COMMAND you.."
through Paul, He used the words PUT on, TAKE on.
in other words, He is giving us a choice to choose!
didnt your salvation come by your faith when you chose Jesus?
the greatest gift God has given us are choices that we can make in life.
so since youve chosen Him when you received your salvation, why not choose to build your life according to Godliness?

New Man - Entirely New Way of Life
what happens after you choose to build your life according to Godliness?
you THROW AWAY YOUR OLD MAN!
in The Message version, the theme of this chapter is The Old Way of Life Has to Go
it means putting down all your past iniquities, bad temper, immorality, bad habits, etc.
and adopting a WHOLE NEW LIFESTYLE with God, walking with Him.

Created According to God - a God fashioned Life
I love this!
a God fashioned Life. we are indeed, created according to God.
think about Adam, the first perfect Man that God has made before he fell into sin.
everytime God makes us, He would love for us to be like Him,
leading a God fashioned life, Godly life,
one that in WHATEVER THAT WE DO, we seek His agreement,
be transparent when we pray to Him,
(since He already knows what is going on in your life, might as well just tell Him!)
to walk in agreement with the path that He has set for you!

True Righteousness -
Renewed from the inside and Working itself into your Conduct
The Message practically gave us the meaning of what is True Righteousness here.
to be renewed from the inside! this also means to be made new, made whole again.
and not only on the inside, but out too.
-> Working itself into your conduct.
in other words, these are the FRUITS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.
peace, love, kind, gentleness, long suffering, faithfulness, joy, goodness, self-control.
yes, you show it from the things that you say, the actions that you do, whether you break your promises or not, your reaction when you are asked to go the extra mile for someone...
reminds me of a song:

Holiness-
As God accurately reproduces His character in you
Holiness is when God accurately reproduces His character in you.
ACCURATELY.
what does this mean?
there are possibilities when you do something to HINDER God's annointing of His character to fall upon you.
God cannot pour down His annointing fully unto you.
WHAT IS IT THAT IS HINDERING YOUR SPIRITUAL GROWTH?
get rid of it.
that is when God can pour out his annointing so fully and accurately unto you that His character can be reproduced in you!
